Advocacy meeting with the Municipality of Beja
On January 23th, 2017, the Associative Action organized an advocacy meeting with the municipality of Sidi Bouzid in favor of adopting the Participatory Budget process.
The experts of the Associative Action presented the project while explaining the implementation process of the Participatory Budget mechanism: the different activities and the timetable for implementation.
The experts represented the various advantages that this project will have for the municipality, the local NGOs and the citizens.
The agreement of the municipality of Beja will be materialized by the signature of the Participatory Budgeting Partnership agreement.

A second advocacy meeting was held with the local NGOs on April 13th, 2017.
The agreement of the municipality and the local NGOs of Sidi Bouzid will be materialized by the signature of the Participatory Budgeting Partnership agreement.

On May 3rd, 2017, the Associative Action organized an advocacy meeting with the municipality of Monastir in favor of adopting the Participatory Budget process.

The agreement of the municipality and the local NGOs of Monastir will be materialized by the signature of the Participatory Budgeting Partnership agreement.
Participatory Budgeting local facilitators semniar – 2016
On the 5th of November 2016, the “Associative Action” organization organized a sharing experiences’ seminar for the local facilitators of the municipalities of El Kef, Ben Arous and Sbeitla, who contributed to the implementation of the the Participatory Diagnosis as well as the Participatory Budgeting process in their municipalities.
This seminar was a good opportunity for the local facilitators to exchange experiences with each other, assess the results achieved in each city, and work out a plan to ensure the sustainability of the process.
