Signature of the Participatory Budgeting Partnership agreement of the municipality of Tabarka

On the 17th of November 2018, the municipality of Tabarka signed an officiel partnership agreement with the local NGOs to implement the Participatory Budgeting process. The partnership agreement included all the tasks and responsibilities of each stakeholders during the process.

On the 05th of December 2018, the municipality of Mahdia signed an officiel partnership agreement with the local NGOs to implement the Participatory Budgeting process. The partnership agreement included all the tasks and responsibilities of each stakeholders during the process.

On the 02nd of November 2018, the municipality of Kairouan signed an officiel partnership agreement with the local NGOs to implement the Participatory Budgeting process. The partnership agreement included all the tasks and responsibilities of each stakeholders during the process.

Training of Women Leaders on Gender and Participatory Budgeting

In the framework of the project “The Word to Women”, the Associative Action organized training sessions for the Women Leaders (WL) of the project, in the partner municipalities of Kairouan, Mahdia et Tabarka, in Female Leadership and Participatory Budgeting.

The main goal of these trainings provided by the project team between September and November 2018, is to well prepare the WL in the 3 municipalities for their responsibilities in the campaigns of awareness and communication of the Participatory Budgeting, as well as to acquire the necessary skills to encourage women participation in the citizen forums of the participatory process.
