Signature of the Participatory Budgeting Partnership agreement of the municipality of la Marsa
On the 17th of Februrary 2014, the municipality of la Marsa signed an officiel partnership agreement with the local NGOs to implement the Participatory Budgeting process. The partnership agreement included all the tasks and responsabilities of each stakeholders during the process (see the document below).

On the 09th of January 2014, the municipality of la Marsa announced officially the implementation of the Participatory Budgeting process in 2014, regarding the municipal budget of 2015. This announcement was communicated through an official release.
The Participatory Budgeting Process is a citizen participation tool which allows citizens to take part in the decision making process at the local level, regarding basic infrastructure projects.
