Signature of the Participatory Budgeting Partnership agreement of the municipality of Gabes

On the 22nd of Februrary 2014, the municipality of Gabes signed an officiel partnership agreement with the local NGOs to implement the Participatory Budgeting process. The partnership agreement included all the tasks and responsabilities of each stakeholders during the process (see the document below).

Official Announcement related to the Participatory Budgeting in the municipality of Gabès
On the 18th of Februrary 2014, the municipality of Gabes announced officially the implementation of the Participatory Budgeting process in 2014, regarding the municipal budget of 2015. This announcement was communicated through an official release.
The Participatory Budgeting Process is a citizen participation tool which allows citizens to take part in the decision making process at the local level, regarding basic infrastructure projects.
