Signature of the Participatory Budgeting Partnership agreement of the municipality of Ariana
On the 26th of May 2017, the municipality of Ariana signed an officiel partnership agreement with the local NGOs to implement the Participatory Budgeting process. The partnership agreement included all the tasks and responsabilities of each stakeholders during the process.
15 local NGOs signed the agreement with the municipality (see document below).
Advocacy meeting with the Municipality of Ariana
On April 5th, 2017, the Associative Action organized an advocacy meeting with the municipality of Monastir in favor of adopting the Participatory Budget process.
The experts of the Associative Action presented the project while explaining the implementation process of the Participatory Budget mechanism: the different activities and the timetable for implementation.
The experts represented the various advantages that this project will have for the municipality, the local NGOs and the citizens.
A second advocacy meeting was held with the local NGOs on May 17th, 2017.
The agreement of the municipality and the local NGOs of Ariana will be materialized by the signature of the Participatory Budgeting Partnership agreement.
